Omphile took to social media to explain that he had been involved in a car accident which impacted him adversely and almost cleaned him out financially. He said he didn’t want the car initially, which added to his stress, Briefly.co.za discovered.
“[I] only got the car to please my parents...I generally wasn't ready to get it. I didn't even tell them, they just saw a car in the yard,” he explained.
His severe depression caused him to lose weight.
He says he turned his life around with support from his partner and has been accepted to study accounting at the University of Tshwane. He said he would obtain his degree regardless of the cost. He says he was overjoyed when he heard of his acceptance.
Social media users encouraged him to find a way to study, and reminded him that God always has a plan, even tthough he is already R 13 000 in debt.
