Popular Zimbabwean 'prophet', Ian Ndlovu of Divine Kingdom Ministries, has urged his congregants and the entire African continent to pray for a politician from one of four East African countries as there is a plan to assassinate him.
The man of God claimed he has been having a vision that the plan is to abduct and assassinate the leader.
According to Ndlovu, there will be bloodshed in the country should the politician be killed.
Speaking to his congregants at his church on Sunday, 17 February, the preacher mentioned Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda, claiming the said leader comes from one of these countries.
The preacher went ahead to reveal that he knows who the leader is and the exact country but will not say who because God asked him not to.
Ndlovu held that the politician seems little and without influence but his planned assassination will anger many, leading them to war.
''There is a vision which God has been showing me about East Africa. We need to pray for East Africa. There is a country which God has shown me in East Africa. I will deliberately mention more than 3 countries. The country that am referring to will be among the ones that I will mention. I will mention Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda. In one of the countries there is a plot to assassinate someone who is very popular, someone who is a rallying point for certain people,'' Ndlovu said.
The preacher vehemently insisted that God sent him to ask his people to pray for the said leader so as to dismantle the plot.
''The spirit of God is saying we must pray against that plot. They are planning to abduct this person, the next time he will be found he will be dead. I know the country but I cannot mention it because God told me not to mention the country on its own. If they assassinate that person, it will mark the end of that government. The person I am talking about appears small but if the person is abducted and killed, it will trigger so much unrest in that country,'' he added.
This is not the first time the preacher is making headlines with his prophecies.
It should be noted that Ndlovu issued a chilling prophecy on August 1, during South Africa's election period, claiming people would die, and true to this there were killings all over the country.
