Suspect linked to Sibusiso Khwinana's murder has been arrested

One of the three suspects linked to the attack and murder of actor Sibusiso Khwinana has been arrested. Police Minister Bheki Cele confirmed the arrest and that the other suspects are being searched for.

Bheki Cele, South Africa's Police Minister, announced that a suspect in the murder of Matwetwe actor, Sibusiso Khwinana, has been arrested.

The suspect is expected to appear in court on Monday, 11 March, as reported on by SABC News.

Cele added that the two other suspects, who were identified in last week, are still being searched for.

A report by EWN indicated that Cele was attending the late actor's funeral when he shared news of the arrest.

He also assured those present that the police are working tirelessly to make sure justice is served for Khwinana's killers.

Cele says that police are on the lookout for two other accomplices who have been identified.

The 25-year-old's death came as a shock to South Africans. He was allegedly stabbed to death over a cellphone, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.

A thug apparently tried to rob Khwinana of his phone, and they wrestled before the actor was stabbed with a sharp object.
