A couple tied the knot in a Cape Town hospital after the groom was shot during a robbery in his home the night before.
Muneer Hercules and Maryam Kallie said 'I do' at the Melomed Gatesville Hospital on Sunday. Hercules was rushed to the hospital after he sustained injuries during an armed robbery at home on 9 March.
However, the couple did not let the incident stop their special day and they held their Nikkah, a Muslim wedding ceremony, at the hospital.
The photos were shared on Facebook by Melomed Gatesville on Sunday, Briefly.co.za gathered.
The post was captioned:

The photos gave social media users the feels and they flooded the comment section with congratulations messages.
