Somizi Mhlongo was unsettled by reports that his wedding to Mohale Motaung has been postponed because of money problems. According to the entertainer, there are no issues and the rumours are false.
Rumours surfaced that Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung had to reschedule their much-anticipated wedding because they were strapped for cash.
However, Somizi insists this isn't true and says that in terms of money, there are no problems.
The vexed entertainer took to social media to address the reports and expressed how disturbing the stories are.
The Sunday Sun reported that Somizi and Mohale have no sponsors to help pay for their wedding, and this sent Somizi into a video-rant on Instagram.
"First of all, we haven't even started planning the wedding. Second of all, we haven't even spoken to anybody about the wedding.
"But in terms of money for the wedding... there's no issues!"
Briefly.co.za learnt that Somizi also addressed other rumours that they have been offered financial support.
"It's just the stories (that have come up) that we've been offered three million, the City of Joburg and this and that, [while] nothing of it is true... We only began planning - in fact not planning, we met a wedding planner - sometime last week."
