By now it should be clear that South Africans take funerals to the next level. Briefly.co.za previously reported about a video of a man riding a coffin and another funeral during which beer was poured on the casket.

Now, a video has been shared on social media which shows friends, family and fans of the late Richard “Boeta” Simons, honouring him in a way fit for a spinner.

The video shows several cars spinning around the hearse before later spinning around Boeta's coffin as the crowd cheers them on.

Boeta, who was allegedly set to get married this year, died in a car crash last Sunday. According to the Daily Sun, the 30-year-old spinner was on his way to Bloemfontein from Welkom when he was involved in the crash.

His funeral was held at Heidedal, Mangaung, this past Saturday.
