Doting dad captures daughter’s reaction to new toy convertible

Social media users could not decide who was the more adorable one between a doting father and his two-year-old daughter, who was overjoyed by the gift presented to her on her birthday.

Twitter user, the “Ice King”, normally known as Sihle Hlongwa, melted when he saw his daughter's reaction to her new convertible toy car, and he shared a video of her response on social media.

South Africans on Twitter were impressed with Sihle’s parenting and appreciated that his daughter appeared to be truly grateful for the gift. Surprised by the shiny new toy, she first asked if the car was hers instead of impulsively rushing to play with it, Briefly.co.za found.

Mzansi found it hilarious that the mother was telling a boy in the background to move, and assumed that he was just as excited to test drive his sister’s new ride, which many felt showed a typical difference between boys and girls.

Many users were eager to see the girl’s reaction when she grows up and gets her first real 'big girl' car, and one user suggested that he save the video and film her reaction again when she’s older.
