Mzansi rallies to help expecting parents find father employment

A soon-to-be mother took to Twitter to seek assistance for her husband who lost his job in November last year. Sympathising with the anxiety of expecting a baby with strained finances, South Africans offered words of encouragement and advice, sharing any job opportunities they knew of.

The lady, who goes by the Twitter handle @ngo_23, shared that her husband is a qualified boilermaker with over five years’ experience. They are currently based in Johannesburg but were happy to relocate anywhere they could find employment.

She added that he has experience in the mining industry and has considered moving to the North West because there are a lot of mines in the region.

Many users referred the lady to sites and companies that they knew were looking for boilermakers and suggested job-searching sites she could visit.
