With the national election approaching fast, the ANC decided to do a bit of campaigning work online - however, it did not end well for the ruling party.
On Monday, the ANC urged South Africans to vote for them in the upcoming elections.
"A vote for the ANC on May 8 is a vote for a party that protects poor and vulnerable workers. The National Minimum Wage will ensure that all South Africans can earn a living wage as we work towards a more equal society," the ruling party captioned the post.
South Africans were not impressed with the ANC post and they slammed the ruling party for failing the people.
Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at some of the reactions the video gathered.
Social media user @BhudazaThomas commented: "25yrs of looting and corruption was enough...Mandela said it 'If the ANC do to you what Apartheid did,do to the ANC what you did to Apartheid period!"
Another tweep, @mike_superb, added: "A vote for ANC is a vote for unemployment, incompetence, corruption you cannot argue against this as under you economy has shrunk, unemployment has soared, SOE’s broken, defend that."
