Another video of a school brawl has made its way onto social media last week. The video, which was reportedly filmed at Edenvale High, showed two female learners beating each other.
On Sunday, a video was posted on social media which showed two teenage girls hitting each other at school while their peers crowded around them and watched.
Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi shared the video on his Twitter page, captioning it:
"Another madness, this time at Edenvale High, Ekurhuleni #EndTheMadness"
The video sparked quite the reaction on social media but it left South Africans divided. Some felt the fight was not that bad, compared to other clips of the same nature. Others added these types of fights took place back in the day as well, there just were no phones to film it.
Sipho Mahlatshana, who goes by the Twitter handle @CpoMahlatshana, wrote: "I'm irritated with social media & cellphones. This used to happen in our days & teachers will beat us both & it ends. Now we have entire world being entertained by kids. We are the reason for this to happen we repost, like, comment on stupid things. This post was unnecessary."

However, a lot of social media users condemned both learners' actions, adding violence has become a real problem in schools.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported on another school violence video, where a girl was attacked by a group of learners.
Lesufi visited the school on Monday where he described the attack on the girl as attempted murder.
