- Itumeleng Khune went out to have a little fun and he ended up taking it a bit too far
- The soccer star was caught on camera acting the fool in a local shisa nyama joint
- Some say that his behaviour was inappropriate, others fell that he was just having a little fun
Laughs were order of the day over the weekend. Itumeleng Khune, Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalie, had Mzansi in fits of laughter.
A video was shared on social media showing Khune having a good time at a place that appears to be Moja Café in Soweto.
Briefly.co.za saw that the café looked as if they were closing up up for the night, but the soccer star had other ideas.
Khune is seen smiling from ear to ear, waving his platinum credit card. He is prepared to swipe his card to pay for the café and become the new owner, we gathered from the scene. After him and his companions were asked to leave, Khune jokingly requests the speedpoint machine.
The Daily Sun made several attempts but was unable to obtain a comment from Moja Café.
The person responsible for posting the video, DJ Mahoota, said that it was all done for the fun of it and nothing harmful was said.
Khune was also unavailable to comment on the video.
People who viewed the video on social media were divided. Some were able to find the humour in it and then there were others that were not too happy.
The negative comments were, Khune should not be out partying but should be home nursing his injuries, and another was that his team was losing and he should be in mourning.
Someone posted that Khune is just 'having fun' and that he is tired of crying about Chiefs.
