Popular Hollywood reality star, Kim Kardashian, is once again in the news. The reality star has offered to help a man - who was recently released from prison - until he is able to stand on his feet again.

The ex-convict, Matthew Charles, had taken to Facebook to share his good news. Charles had been released from prison after serving 20 years out of his 35-year sentence for non-violent drug and weapons convictions.

According to reports, Kim had reached out to Charles and offered to pay for his rent for the next five years. She had also promised to find him a suitable place to live.

Kim had decided to help Charles after his application to rent a home was rejected due to his criminal history. It was also gathered that his lack of credit for the twenty years in prison had also been sighted as a reason for the rejection.

On his Facebook post, Charles noted that Kim had been moved by his story and she decided to help. He added that she did not do it for attention or publicity.

Ever since his release, the man has found a full-time job, bought a car and also moved in with his friend. He will now be able to live in his own home rent free for five years, thanks to the reality star.
