Prophet Shepherd Bushiri has refused to talk about the rumours of an alleged child he has with a former lover.
On Wednesday, the Daily Sun reported they contacted Major One for a comment on the claims that he fathered a child out of wedlock nearly eight years ago.
However, according to the paper, Bushiri refused to say anything on the subject. In fact, he was so adamant about remaining mum that his spokesperson, Ephraim Nyondo, asked the paper to not even write that he refused to comment on the allegations.
“You can ask me anything else I will comment but not on this issue. Please do not write that I said we don’t want to comment but we won’t be commenting on those allegations. You can write whatever you want,” Major One's spokesman said.

Briefly.co.za previously reported a family has accused Bushiri of fathering a child out of wedlock.
The child was allegedly born in 2011, right before Bushiri tied the knot with his wife, Mary. Bushiri allegedly told the family at the time that he is not refusing to be a father, but if people found out it would destroy his ministry.
However, now they want Bushiri to publicly acknowledge the child and to care for her emotionally and financially.
Meanwhile, Bushiri is not the only pastor making headlines this week. It was earlier reported that more damning allegations were made against the 'resurrection pastor, Alph Lukau'.
According to one woman, Lukau convinced her to lie about being HIV-positive so that he could 'heal' her in front of his congregation.
The fake miracle was allegedly a ploy to attract more people to his church.
