Zolisa Xaluva has moved on from his days as Jason in Generations, but still doesn't think fondly of the show, it seems.

The actor is currently doing his thing as Diamond in The Queen and his acting career is soaring, but he will always be remembered as one of the 16 actors who was fired from Generations.

However, Zolisa says he doesn't regret his time on the show and that he learnt from the experience, as reported by TimesLIVE.

Zolisa told the Trending SA panel that it was alright for him (and the other actors) to fight for what they wanted.

"(I learnt) it is okay to fight for what you want. It is okay to fight for the respect that you feel you deserve. It is okay to speak truth to power. It is okay to realise that you have to have a contribution in your lifetime."

"I won't be drawn to an argument about Mfundi (Vundla) himself. But he says something very interesting about a 'upward trajectory'.
"I think if anything was going on an upward trajectory, it would have been the show itself. Which evidently over the last five years has dropped tremendously in ratings since the departure of the 16, to the point that even the show that comes after them, which is called Uzalo, has more ratings than them."
