It's almost an unwritten rule that when a man buys a drink for a woman, he's going to get something in return.

Mzansi socialite, Pulane Lenkoe, is unhappy with this social norm and spoke out about it on Twitter.

According to Pulane, if a man offers her something worth money even before a date, she won't go anywhere with him.

Pulane said that men offer out of their own pocket, and she asked why they would then expect something in return.

"But you’re the one offering mos, why must she pay then?
"LOL, you come bother these ladies and start offering to buy them drinks, point is they never said they can’t afford to get their own then you expect them to go home with you, there’s something wrong with you, but then if they ask maybe that would be a different story."

The socialite went on to say that expecting a woman to go home with you is a sick mentality and men should not be proud of doing it.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Pulane strongly feels a woman should not have to 'give up her body' just because someone paid for her drink.
