Kelly Khumalo is using her platform to do some good in the community. The songstress has teamed up with #Sisters2EndTB to fight tuberculosis. The muso is joined by reigning Miss South Africa, Tamryn Green, and media personality, Gerry Elsdon.
Kelly Khumalo took to social media to share that she has joined the fight against TB alongside other famous faces.
The muso shared a snap with Tamryn Green and Gerry Elsdon. The women looked stunning in red outfits.
The initiative is close to Tamryn Green's heart as she committed to breaking the stigma of TB after she was diagnosed with the illness in 2015. At the time she didn’t tell anyone about it because of the fear of stigma.
Kelly Khumalo has not been in the press for good reasons of late, so it's a welcome change to see her giving back to the community.
Kelly Khumalo's last brush with the headlines was the unfortunate incident in which she was shamed when some felt that if she dated Mampintsha, he would be 'sorted'. Briefly.co.za learnt that this idea came about due to Kelly’s sad track record of deceased or jailed partners.
