Ayanda Borotho has spoken up following the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old Mondeor High School pupil, Kulani Mathebula. The actress, like many in Mzansi, expressed outrage over the incident and says that the problem is bad parenting.
Ayanda took to Instagram to say that she felt parents needed a wake-up call.
"We can all be mothers and fathers but the question is, can we parent, are we in a position to parent, are we ready to parent?"

The actress said that poor parenting will result in kids behaving the way they do.
"Children are merely an extension of ourselves. Children don't do as they are told they do as they see. We can't blame these kids."

Briefly.co.za learnt that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder. They are aged between 13 and 15.
The devastated mother of the victim was left weeping at the scene. Medics and bystanders had to witness the 36-year-old mother screaming her son's name as she walked away from the mortuary van.
