Tweeps roast Emtee for calling AKA his idol: But was it wrong?

Rapper Emtee faced huge criticism on social media earlier today after she shared a pic of him with hip-hop artist AKA and called him an idol.

Could the tweeps have been confused as to who Emtee was referring to as an idol? Was it the Supa Mega or himself? Well, they did not wait for the rapper to clarify himself and instead blasted him on Twitter. He wrote: "Not too many people can be this close to their idol."

The recent snap caused much conflict as both artists are known to be Cassper Nyovest's music rivals. Both artists have been involved with many social media wars with Cassper. Cassper's reactions are always simple - he either just laughs it off or acts cool.

Most tweeps suggested that both artists were acting cool for the cameras because they share a common enemy and are not genuine friends as they seem to portray. Is this really true? Check out the tweet below.

Emtee also shared the same pic on his Instagram account. He wrote: "Kickin flavor with big homie. Solid niggas."

By the looks of things, we don't think Emtee meant any harm in his posts. He was just showing how honoured he felt that the could kick back with a big name like AKA. Check out his Instagram post below.
