Loadshedding has been implemented throughout Saturday night and stage 4 loadshedding is in the cards for Sunday, 17 March between 8 am and 11 pm. Eskom put the blame on a decline in water reserves that supplements power generation.
Eskom informed South Africa that stage 4 loadshedding will be implemented throughout the day during Sunday, 17 March.
The loadshedding is scheduled for between 8 am and 11 pm.
According to a report by EWN, the power utility says there was a decline in water reserves that goes towards supplementing generation capacity.
This comes after Eskom already warned that stage 4 loadshedding could be expected over the weekend.
Briefly.co.za reported on 16 March that the power utility announced that stage 2 load shedding would be underway but have since notified the public that the power utility has moved into higher stages.
