- Nasty C hosted an exclusive event to premier the music video of his hit track, SMA
- People were blown away, not only by the music videos, but by how much thought Nasty C had put into the productio
- There are three music videos for 'SMA' and volume one just dropped today
Nasty C took over Braamfontein this weekend. In collaboration with Red Bull Music and Universal Music, Nasty C hosted The Music. Love. Art Exhibition at Kalashnikovv Gallery.
The breath-taking venue was handpicked by Nasty C in order to allow for an appropriate atmosphere to be created for this intimate and exclusive event.
Briefly.co.za learnt that this event was used to give an exclusive viewing of the SMA music video, which was accompanied by a beautiful live strings performance.
Nasty C also used this to showcase a side of him that very few know about. On the walls of the gallery hung works of art done by Nasty C himself. The rapper said that he had been drawing since he was around 6 years old.
A pianist and string quartet were brought to the stage after Nasty gave his speech. They performed live renditions of a few tracks off his insanely lit album, Strings and Bling.
Rowlene and another talented singer joined them on stage to perform SMA. Nasty C pulled out every stop to make this night perfect.
Nasty C then gave the exclusive attendees the honour of viewing the SMA Trilogy for the very first time.
There were three music videos shot for ‘SMA’ as it was extremely important to Nasty C that the diversity of our county and the story behind the song were captured.
The event apparently got so lit that it was shut down by police, according to ZAlebs.
Volume one of the SMA music video was released today and fans cannot get enough of it!
