Southern Africa has been in chaos following Cyclone Idai which has resulted in the loss of hundreds of lives and widespread destruction. In the aftermath of the disaster, Africans have rallied together to help rebuild the homes lost and the cities wrecked in the storm.

Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi have especially been affected and emergency workers are doing their best to remedy the situation, discovered.

One Zimbabwean man, Ryan Schonken, was determined to be part of those working tirelessly to help the victims of the cyclone recover and rebuild. Ryan donated a truck full of goods to donate for the victims.

Africans expressed their admiration and gratitude for Ryan on social media and expressed their wishes that the goods go through the right channels in order to reach those who need it the most.
