Palesa Madisakwane took to social media to speak on the negative effects of drinking and driving after she and her 8-year-old daughter were involved in a car accident. The media personality also thanked baby daddy and close friend, Somizi, for his support during this difficult time.
The media personality uploaded some videos and images on Instagram sharing details about the accident. Briefly.co.za previously reported that a drunk driver crashed into her vehicle. She was left with 20 stitches to her forehead and her daughter was severely traumatised:
"When there is any bang or sound she jumps.”
Palesa’s co-parent and friend, Somizi, has been at the forefront of support offered. He sent her a bouquet of 50 white roses and took her to a plastic surgeon to repair the scar on her face.

She took to social media to thank Somizi for taking her to the plastic surgeon. She also thanked the surgeon, Dr Mia, for the reconstructive surgery.
The actress was driving in Witkoppen Road in Johannesburg. She said her daughter was asleep in the car. There was a bang and then she recalled her daughter crying when she realised that their car had been hit by another vehicle.
