Bonang Matheba's new luxury drink has barely been released and already she's shrugging off hate. The label of her MCC range, House of BNG, had the word 'elegant' misspelt, and people couldn't let it slide.
Bonang Matheba proudly launched her own brand-new brut and brut rosé Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) sparkling wines (or 'champagnes'), called the House of BNG.
However, despite the warm welcome the luxury drink received, there have been a lot of jokes made because of a misspelt word.
The error is a typo that spells the word 'elegant' as 'elegent'. Briefly.co.za reported it was picked up by a social media user who took to Twitter to post the blunder.
This didn't upset our girl Bonang in the least, and she responded by laughing it off and even making a joke herself.
According to a report by TimesLIVE, the printing error only affected a small batch of the drink.
Bonang took to social media herself to address the mistake and make a witty comment:
