The EFF's Julius Malema recently mocked musician Mampintsha for failing to rise to DA head, Mmusi Maimane's challenge.

The Sowetan reported that while addressing supporters yesterday, Malema accused the musician of being a coward who was only brave enough to take on women, but was too afraid to take on Maimane.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Mmusi Maimane had issued the musician a challenge, asking him to go thee rounds in a boxing ring with him. This had been in response to a viral video depicting the musician assaulting his girlfriend at the time, Babes Wodumo.

Malema felt that, unlike that 'coward Mampintsha', he would be able to take the Democratic Alliance leader on:

"If Mampintsha is a real man ... invited to a boxing ring by pastor [Mmusi] Maimane and you want to tell me a fool who cannot take on Maimane in a fight wants us to believe he is a real man. Even I would knock out Maimane."

The EFF leader encouraged men to stop the war they have declared against women and attempt to understand them:

"When we grow up in our communities they teach us [men] that we are superior to women, all of us must say I want to walk myself out of that miseducation and we as men must accept that we have a problem."
