Social media users call out DJ Sbu for posting 'nyaope' warning

DJ Sbu has social media users annoyed up again after sharing a video of young men who appear to be under the influence of a narcitic substance. He used the video to warn his followers about the dangers of nyaope, but people questioned whether the men were actually high on nyaope because the video was not even taken in South Africa.

However, some people on social media pointed out that the video was taken in America, and nyaope does not exist on that side of the world. They began questioning DJ Sbu's motives for posting the video.

Others were offended by the fact that the deejay made drug abuse a race issue when he said that he is worried about "our black brothers and sisters".

DJ Sbu is not a stranger to controversy on social media. Briefly.co.za previously reported that he came under fire after he sneaked into a gym in America and called it 'hustling'. Social media users quickly pointed out that he was breaking the law and he ended up apologising.
