The saying goes 'For a happy life, give your money to your wife', and this is believed to be the key to harmony and happiness.
It's an old saying though, and Briefly.co.za asked South Africans if it still applies in this modern day and age.
The replies that were given were hilarious as well as an indication of how men feel about giving all (or at least most of) their money to their wives or girlfriends.

Johny Papahope Cakaza felt that women will not be satisfied even if you give them all your money. They will find something else to complain about.
You will give money she will complain about attention and not giving her time when you give time she will say you always home dont you want to get fresh air with friends when you dont she will say you take your friends serious more than her or you drink alot.
Brian Moyo feels that money is evil and it won't be right to give something bad to his wife.

Eric Mavasa also feels that women won't be satisfied with having all their men's money.
Women don't know what they want, even in the shop you can buy everything but still not be satisfied.
