- Local parents recently got into a hilarious discussion about a popular South African kids’ toy on social media
- Most of the moms and dads online agreed that the toy was the most irritating thing in the house
- Others weren’t scared away by the warnings and vowed to get the toy for their own children
It seems that the majority of Mzansi parents can agree on one thing; plastic kids’ motorbikes are super annoying for parents.
The discussion started after someone shared on social media that kids’ mini plastic motorbikes are on sale at Checkers supermarket.
A social media user then shared a hilarious response to the sale, saying that the person who came up with the toy “works at the devil's headquarters as chief of Annoyance and Irritation ”.
A great deal of parents agreed, commenting on the loud ‘grr grr’ noise that the bike makes as it scrapes on the floor.
Parents also commented on the difficulties of the toy through all stages of their kids’ development.
Some parents even provided video evidence of their children in action. Briefly.co.za could barely handle the cuteness.
Other parents weren’t deterred in the slightest by the anecdotes from fellow moms and dads, they were just excited for their kids to have some fun.
