A young woman, Ruby Chikwiri, has started an amazing initiative to help her fellow graduates safe money on their special day.
Chikwiri started the #DressAGraduate initiative which aims to help lift the financial strain on graduating students.
A person's graduation day is one of the most special moments in life and we want to look on the big day. However, with varsity fees and other more important expenses, buying new clothes are not always a possibility.
Chikwiri, who completed her Honours degree Cum Laude, is aware of the financial strain graduates have to endure, so, she started the initiate to lighten those burdens.
Taking to social media, Chikwiri explained what #DressAGraduate aims to accomplish. She encouraged South Africans to donate clothing, which would dress a student on his or her graduation day.

According to Good Things Guy, Chikwiri graduated with an Honours in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the University of Cape Town.
#DressAGradute is also not the first initiative she founded to help other people - six years ago, Chikwiri started project that provides sanitary pads for young underprivileged school girls.
And, by the looks of it, #DressAGraduate is already a success with South Africans flooding her Twitter account with donations towards the cause.
