Shekhinah is really making a name for herself, especially as she ticks off the major international stars she has opened a concert for. Briefly.co.za learnt that she has shared the stage with three international music icons: Ed Sheeran, Lauryn Hill and John Legend.

Singing sensation, Shekhinah, has really grown from being a contestant on Idols SA who didn't make the first cut and had to come back the next season, to Mzansi's musical icon.

Shekhinah's accoloades include a platinum-selling album, sold-out shows, being one of the most-streamed Mzansi artists on Spotify and the honour of opening up for major Grammy Award-winning artists.

Her list of big international stars is growing quite impressively with John Legend, Lauryn Hill and the talented Ed Sheeran. Check out her pic of him and her at the concert this past weekend.

She also opened the concert for Lauryn Hill about a month back, on 1 February this year to be exact. She shared a snap of the artiste and herself on her Instagram account.

She wrote:

"Got to experience something magical last night... I got listen to @ms_laurynhill live... no wordsmith could even begin to describe the way I felt or how much this hug means to me."

Shekhinah got to perform with John Legend in November 2017. She was really excited to be able to share the stage with him. Check out her Instagram post below:

Yesterday, Briefly.co.za reported that Shekhinah killed it on stage during her performance at the Ed Sheeran's concert at the weekend.

Most Mzansi fans who attended the Ed Sheeran concert in Johannesburg will agree that his second support act, Shekhinah, really killed it on stage.

Shekhinah added another amazing highlight to her music career following her performance at the fully-packed Johannesburg stadium as the supporting act for Ed Sheeran.

According to ZAlebs, ever since the 24-year-old stepped into the music scene, her life has been a rollercoaster ride of achievements. She has celebrated many milestones in her career already, including winning numerous awards and having her debut album, Rose Gold, reach platinum status.
