EFF praises mom of twins and “war council member” on graduating

The Economic Freedom Fighters’ Hlengiwe Mkhaliphi expressed her pride and admiration for fellow EFF member, Veronica Mente, for graduating from the University of Witwaterstand.

Mkhaliphi shared Mente’s achievements on Twitter and commended Mente on successfully juggling her work for the EFF, her studies and being the mother of twins.

Mentes obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. She expressed her gratitude for the inspiration and motivation she received from strong South African role models.

“When you know for a fact that the spirit of mama Winnie is everywhere. When you know for a fact that you can do masters degree and elections at the same time,” enthused Mente.

She added that her family’s support helped her through her studies. Mente wrote, “Thats me right now in the company of my hubby who held my hand throughout my studies. Thank you baby. He even ensured that I had an outfit whilst I was busy with the EFF rally of Mpumalanga. Amandla.”

EFF supporters on social media gushed that the party made education seem cool and commended her on her hard work, Briefly.co.za discovered.

Other users, however, were less enthusiastic and criticised the EFF for allegedly using taxpayers’ money.
