Taking her future into her own hands, second-year student, Uyathembeka Moyo, opened her own catering company and food truck, Halisi Catering.
The University of Witwatersrand student took to social media to proudly share her new enterprise.
Social media users were excited to show their support for a burgeoning small business and couldn’t wait for her business to grow so that she could deliver and consider a branch at Wits to make students’ lives a little bit easier.
Many users wished her all the best and truly believed her idea and her drive and comitment to making her vision a reality.

Lam T Mapunya enthused that he was proud of Uyathembeke and found her to be an inspiration, Briefly.co.za found.,
“I'm proud of you dear. We are inspired by young woman who can make something out their own idea and to maintain their living demands. All the best dear,” he wrote enthusiastically.
One user could hardly wait for Uyathembeka to open a store in Richmond because cooking took way too much effort and the nearby stores could stand to improve their service and expand their menu.
