Bafana Bafana qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) on Sunday and compliments are still pouring in.

South Africans have taken to social media to praise the players with President Cyril Ramaphosa setting the tone.

Ramaphosa congratulated the team via twitter on Sunday evening.

His tweet included a short video of the team celebrating their victory over Libya.

As is customary on social media, detractors saw it as an opportunity to voice their concerns.

Fellow South Africans followed suit and heaped praise on the Bafana players.

However, 2 players received most of the praise for their herculean efforts in the match against Libya.

Darren Keet pulled off some remarkable saves between the sticks and Percy Tau netted a fantastic brace.
