A light-hearted video took a different view of how Eskom implements it loadshedding and South Africans found the footage very funny.
South Africans were reeling last week as a result of the spike in Eskom’s loadshedding.
Stage 4 was the term on everyone’s lips as the embattled power utility implemented this phase for the most part.
A video pokes fun at the stage 4 situation as it provides a comical depiction of how loadshedding may be applied.
The video was shared by Twitter user, @AdvBarryRoux, and South Africans were able to see the funny side.
Some social media users were drawn to certain parts of the video, such as the main power switch being labelled as “eishkom” and town of Stellenbosch is referred to as “skelmbosch.”
Briefly.co.za admired the ability of South Africans to still see the funny side despite the challenges that loadshedding presents.
