eHostela actor, Thobani Dlomo, opens up on how he was attacked

Crime is a rising problem in South Africa, and no one gets spared, not even actors. Thobani Dlomo, known for his role as Mndeni on Mzansi Magic's eHostela, shared his own experience at Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg.

eHostela's Thobani Dlomo shared his story on how he was nearly robbed at musician Sjava's show at Constitutional Hill in Johannesburg.

OkMzansi reported that Thobani explained to Isolezwe he was speaking on his phone when a car passed him by and he got the feeling the people inside wanted to rob him.

There was a car passing by, and it seems as though the people in the car were planning on robbing me of my phone.

The next thing Thobani knew, he was in a tussle with a man and fighting for his phone.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the phone was damaged during the altercation, but the actor managed to keep a hold of it.

The actor also reported no injuries on himself.

According to a report by ZAlebs, Thobani is disappointed at how comfortable criminals are in South Africa and feels something drastically needs to be done about crime.
