- Keet added that his focus was on the Nedbank Cup
Darren Keet, goalkeeper for Bidvest Wits and Bafana Bafana, would reject an offer to join Mamelodi Sundowns even if they offered him R1 million a month.
This comes at Keet's contract with Wits nears its end.
However, Keet say he will either renew his contract with Wits to join a team overseas.
Keet said there was no reason for him to move to another local club, adding that Wits could match any pay rise offered by another team.
He also said Wits had more chance of winning than other teams. Keet returned to Wits in 2016 following a stint with Belgian team KV Kortrijk. The year he returned, Wits nabbed the Absa Premiership title, according to The Sowetan.
Keet may still be riding a wave of confidence as a result of his impressive performance last week in Bafana's match against Libya.
Keet has also said that he is not thinking about his future at the moment. Instead, his focus is on the league and on the Nedbank Cup.
Wits will take on Chippa United this weekend as part of the Nedbank Cup.
