- Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning to eject Liverpool star, Virgil Van Dijk, from his £4 million mansion
- The Norwegian was recently given his Man United job on a permanent basis, three months after taking over from Mourinho
- Solskjaer will consider leaving his current abode, Lowry Hotel, for a permanent home
Newly-appointed Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has concluded plans to move into the mansion he laid the foundation for 12 years back.
The Norwegian-born tactician was recently handed a three-year deal at Old Trafford barely three months after taking over from Jose Mourinho on an interim basis.
During his first quarter in charge of the club, the manager led the team to 14 wins and two draws in 19 matches in all competitions.
He has also dragged them back into top four contention, while they are in the quarterfinals of the Champions League where they will battle Barcelona next month.
Solskjaer lived in a £4 million five-bedroom property during his playing days, and put it on the market after returning to Norway to manage Molde.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford in December 2018, the 46-year-old has been staying at Lowry Hotel.
Daily Mail, however, reports that the tactician might be ejecting Virgil van Dijk, the current occupant, from his mansion as his family will be joining him in England soon.
"We've really enjoyed the last eight years living in Norway," the club legend said in an interview with Manchester United following his appointment.
"It's going to be a change for them but we're looking forward to it. The six months that we agreed on [when initially taking the job on until the end of the season] as a family we agreed to do it separately as there was no need or use to move them over, that's gone now. Now we're moving together.
"We built a house, or I started it in 2007, but finally maybe in 2019 we can move into it - that's long planning!"
Solskjaer's 3.4-acre property includes a media room, a utility room, a store room/AV room, a first floor study area, a master bedroom with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom, four further bedrooms, a garage, a brick outbuilding with a pool room, a dark room and a gym.

In addition, there is also an extensive rear garden and a front paddock with stables.
Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Manchester United have confirmed the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the club's manager in a permanent capacity on a three-year deal.
Solskjaer has been manager on an interim basis, replacing Jose Mourinho, who was sacked in December 2018.
Since returning to Old Trafford, Solskjaer has won 14 of his 19 games in charge, losing just three times so far.
