Hundreds of South Africans came together to have breakfast in bed, It was Mzansi's attempt to take the world record, and it worked. 574 people munched their way into the Guinness World Records book, and Tumi Morake did her part too.
Saturday, 30 March saw families come together and eat breakfast in bed in South Africa's attempt to break the Guinness World Record for most people eating in bed.
Local comedian, Tumi Morake was part of the team effort, and she helped Mzansi bad the record.
574 South Africans ate together at the Sheds in Johannesburg and beat the previous record of 418, which was held by China.
Briefly.co.za noticed that Tumi shared a snap of her with her family and the proof that the record has been taken by South Africa.
They had a lot of fun, even if eating breakfast in bed with so many people may sound a little awkward.
Here are another couple of photos taken by Tumi before the event. Swipe left.
