- Julius Malema has said that corruption is the same as murder
- He made the remarks while taking aim at the ANC
- He accused the party of stealing from South Africans for 25 years
EFF leader, Julius Malema, says corruption is the same as murder, as both can lead to the deaths of innocent people.
He made the comments while on the campaign trail.
He went on to say that the ANC was the EFF's enemy.
Malema slammed the ruling party, accusing them of 25 of years of theft from the public purse. He added that corruption was worse than pick-pocketing, because it amounted to stealing from thousands of people rather than just one or two, Briefly.co.za has gathered.
Malema was speaking to crowds as part of his intensive campaign efforts, which saw him visiting four provinces over the weekend:the Eastern Cape, Western Cape, North West and the Free State, according to Eyewitness News.
With the elections drawing nearer, it seems likely that Malema will continue to make more controversial comments, which are sure to grab headlines and fire up his supporters.
