Video shows man yelling at poster of Ramaphosa before hitting it

South Africans were left divided over a video of a man destroying an ANC campaign poster with Ramaphosa's face on.

A lot of South Africans have accused the ANC of failing the people over the past 25 years and a man took out his frustration on a poster of the head of state.

On Sunday, a video was shared on social media which showed a man losing his cool on a poster of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Briefly.co.za gathered Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux shared the video on his account, captioning it:

"This is not right yazi. People should be called to order."

The video showed the man yelling at the poster before he took to it with a stick, completely destroying the poster.

South Africans were left divided over the footage - a handful of tweeps were not impressed by the man's actions.

Twitter user, @_Mhaka, commented: "We must atleast educate ourselves that doing so is a punishable offence by law. Not to perpetuate unlawfulness. Phakama the Vacuum Cleaner @CyrilRamaphosa."

However, a lot of social media users found the video hilarious and one tweep even joked Malema himself was behind the clip.

Social media user, @zandilisous, wrote: "Ebanna this country can it be the 8th of May nje so that we can go back to reality."
