South Africans saw the funny side of an arrest gone horribly wrong after a video was shared via twitter on Sunday.

The footage was shared by twitter user, @mantshego, and shows how a car is pulled over by 4 traffic officers.

One of the cops approach the driver’s side, but the motorist locks his door.

The stunned cops look on in disbelief as the man’s quick-thinking catches them off-guard.

All four of them get back into their vehicle, but the suspect has made a clear getaway.

The incident is caught on camera by another onlooking motorist and he can be heard calling the officers a “bunch of losers” and that they don’t know how to get the car started.

“Oh my tonsil,” the witness says in disbelief.
