Sophie Lichaba opened up on her talk show, Hashtags, about the sexual abuse she suffered as an 8-year-old girl. Sophie says the abuse was at the hands of a relative and the memory remained with her throughout her childhood.

Sophie Lichaba shocked her talk show fans when she decided to open up about an incident that happened when she was a child.

Sophie recalled that she was 8 years old and was in a foreign country when her aunt's husband proceeded to kiss her, forcing his tongue into her mouth.

The adored actress said it was something that stayed with her as a child.

"You must understand that I grew up remembering this, you need to understand that as a child, you can’t forget such a thing."

Briefly.co.za gathered that Sophie said she was watching TV when the horrible incident happened.

She also opened up about the cyberbullying she had to endure a while back. She also fell victim to hackers and fraudsters - there was a Bitcoin scam and a fake anti-ageing face cream.
