After a two-day manhunt, the Los Angeles police have arrested a suspect in connection with the Nipsey Hussle shooting that took place on 31 March in LA. According to the police, the shooting was not gang-related.
The Los Angeles Police Department have arrested a suspect who is believed to be behind the fatal shooting of US rapper, Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey was shot down in front of his Los Angeles clothing store on Sunday, 31 March.
Eric Holder was taken into police custody after a two-day manhunt.
A report by TimesLIVE indicates that the police do not think that the shooting was gang-related, as was suspected at first.
The LAPD shared photos on social media to help them speed up the search for Holder.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the LAPD believes the shooting was the result of a personal dispute between the rapper and Holder.
The LAPD chief, Michel Moore, said Nipsey and Holder had a verbal disagreement on Sunday in front of the clothing store where he was later shot.
"We believe this to be a dispute between Mr Hussle and Mr Holder. I'm not going to go into the conversations, but it appears to be a personal matter between the two of them."
Holder apparently came back after the confrontation and shot Nipsey in the head and body. Two men who were with the rapper at the time were also wounded.
