Economic Freedom Fighter Chairman Dali Mpofu got tongues wagging after a triggering post on social media. Mpofu took a moment to share a throwback to the 2011 ANC Gauteng Lekgotla, 'proudly sponsored by BOSASA'.
Dali Mpofu, EFF Chairman, raised eyebrows with an unusual and hard-hitting throwback to 2011.
Mpofu took to social media platform Twitter to share a poster that would have once meant nothing, but has deep-rooted meaning now.
The Chairman had shared a banner from the 2011 ANC Gauteng Lekgotla highlighting that it had been 'proudly' sponsored by BOSASA.
While some were up in arms over such a visually damning display, with the company implicated in corruption and money laundering, others were quick to point out the irony in the former ANC leader's post.
Among comments that the ANC had long and strong ties to the infamous company, people wouldn't pass up the opportunity to remind Mpofu that both himself and Julius Malema had still been smitten with the party at the time that has since become their opposition.
More disturbingly were the numerous people who posted more photos of ANC materials with the BOSASA slogan on it.
It makes a person wonder how far back and how deeply involved the ruling party had been with the disgraced group.
