Kelly Khumalo recently walked off the stage at a KZN EFF rally after performing only two songs.

The crowd was chanting the name "Senzo", and the singer decided to back off and walk away, according to The Citizen.

She later said during an interview that the EFF is "all about war", and this got her on the wrong side of supporters.

Soon people were calling Kelly names and even accusing her of killing soccer player, Senzo Meyiwa.

Kelly said she didn't regret walking off the stage, adding that she did not feel comfortable on the stage at all.

"You can say whatever you want to say to me but there’s that energy that says we’re all about war, and you feel it with those people, I felt that and I was like, ‘This is not my place’, I kept saying to my DJ, ‘This is not my place'."

EFF supporters shared a short video clip of Kelly saying this, and insults started flying.

Briefly.co.za noticed that ANC member, Fikile Mbalula, got involved as well, practically egging the 'Red Berets' on, garnering a response from the party's leader, Julius Malema.
