Twitter users were outraged that being sick seemed to be a punishable offence, and user, Reneilwe Phateng-Morobe‏, remarked that it was probably the school’s food that made the child sick in the first place.

South Africans demanded to know who the person was that was taking the videos of the teacher but not doing anything about it.

“From the height it is definitely another adult. Maybe the two don't like each other and are trying to get the other fired. Either way, I lay the blame on the person who recorded it for not stepping in to protect the child. She watched! "Wrote one Twitter user, Debbie van Niekerk.

Two additional videos were shared by other users showing other incidents of abuse and many believed them to be of the same teacher.

Many users agreed that the teacher should be taken to jail because her abusive actions will have a permanent effect on their emotional well-being.

Muziwakhe Ndlovu, another user, asserted, “This monster must be stopped - as in now! Jail! No need for all the court processes! The emotional scars on these kids will last forever! They vomit out of fear of her! They can't ask her to be allowed to go to the loo.”
