DJ Sbu got slammed for electing himself as Africa's ambassador at rapper Nipsey Hussle's memorial held by community members. The DJ shared videos from the memorial, including his speech, and many South Africans weren't impressed.
DJ Sbu is currently spending time in America and got dragged for his behaviour at murdered rapper, Nipsey Hussle's memorial.
Nipsey was shot dead in front of his Los Angeles clothing store on Sunday, 31 March.
The memorial was held at the site, and DJ Sbu decided to take it upon himself to address a crowd of Nipsey's fans on behalf of the entire continent of Africa.

Now the DJ responded to the hate he has been getting over his decision to 'represent'.
He said that he elected himself as ambassador, and he took it as his duty to represent Africa, as reported on by TimesLIVE.
"No one has to elect you. It's your consciousness that should kick in."
When a curious fan asked what actually happened, Sbu gave a short and straight answer:
The DJ explained why he thought he could shoulder the responsibility of representing an entire continent.
