Last night's episode of Generations: The Legacy revealed Wandi's decision to take Lucy's advice and skip the country. Meanwhile, Detective Pele is on the clock to find Wandi before she leaves. Jack revealed part of his plans to secure his nuclear deal with the Russians. Poor Smanga doesnt know what he's in for.
Wandi finally took Lucy's advice to flee the country to save her life. If she stayed she would face a lifetime in jail. She chose a lifetime on the run, where she can still live and not be confined to a jail cell for the rest of her life. Even though Wandi's scared of leaving and finding her own feet in another country, she knows deep down that she wouldn't survive being imprisoned for murder.
Detective Pele Malinga somehow got knowledge that Wandi could be on the run after he went to pay her a visit to tell her she has to come in for more questioning. He met with Mazwai, who went to the flat Wandi was renting from him to collect the keys. Then Detective Pele found out from Gog'Zondiwe and Gog'Flo that Wandi took some leave and left her sister, Zitha, a note.
Detective Pele realised that she could be on the run, and tried to question Lucy about it. Lucy played it cool while Wandi was at the airport about to board a plane. Will Detective Pele catch her before she flees the country? The entire murder investigation depends on making sure Wandi doesn't leave.
Although some viewers wanted Wandi out over the last few days because they didn't like her character, some expressed their sadness at her having to leave town. Here are some of their comments from Twitter:
Meanwhile, while Smanga decided to take a leave of absence from his business at Ezweni Inc to focus his energies on the upcoming election and his political party, Vote, Jack Mabaso has his own plans for the young politician.
Jack revealed a part of his plan to both Zitha and his Russian business partner. All this for a part in the nuclear plants that they want to build in the country.
We hope Smanga sees through Jack's master plan and isn't caught in the middle of this dangerous political manipulation.
This is what tweeps had to say:
Meanwhile, another character, Lesedi, is getting ready to make her exit from the show too. She is going to Cape Town today to go have her baby without anyone finding out that she's pregnant. But how long will she hide the facts from Jerah, surely their long distance relationship will reveal the truth?
Exciting times, and we can't wait.
