Rappers who explore different genres aren't always applauded for their creativity, and Cassper Nyovest doesn't think it's right.

He spoke up on Twitter after a tweep asked a question about rappers who move into other genres.

"Y'all don't say nothing to Drake when he's singing. Stop acting. Leave the artists to express themselves however they want to. Youngsta dropped, big hash dropped , n veigh dropped. Buy their albums and stop complaining about what music niggas wanna make."

However, Briefly.co.za noticed that many other Twitter users thought that Cassper missed the point and said that the original question was just a debating matter, not criticism of artists.

This isn't the only negative attention the rapper received this week. Earlier, he was dragged by a social media user accusing him of focusing on irrelevant international issues and doing nothing about important issues in the country.

Let's hope his weekend will be better.
