Babes Wodumo's manager and sister, Nondumiso Simelane, has blamed a late-night gig and car problems for their failure to pitch in court earlier today.
Babes Wodumo, Nondumiso and Tipcee failed to show up in court today for their appearance after they were charged with assault by a Durban woman. Briefly.co.za learnt that the Durban Magistrates court issued warrants for arrest for all three women.
Speaking to TimesLive, Nondumiso said that they had a late show on Thursday night and had car issues, so they were unable to honour their appearance. She said that their phones were off and her lawyer was unable to reach them.

She said she wasn't concerned about the warrant and they would sort it out.
Apparently, Babes was initially confused and thought the charges against them were a joke.
The victim, believed to be a former friend of the three, was allegedly beaten after they accused her of leaking videos of the group.
