A family living in a hole underneath a house were given an opportunity that changed their lives and now, three years later, they are a success story.
Boaz, a single father, was doing everything in his power to provide for his three children while living in a rat-infested hole.
According to Goodthingsguy.com, Boaz and his wife had traveled from the Congo to find better opportunities for themselves and their children. Unfortunately, his wife fell ill while pregnant and passed away and he was left to take care of the other three children alone. At the time, Boaz worked in a fresh produce shop but soon lost his job as he was unable to juggle work and taking care of his kids.

His story reached the ears of The Angel Network, which is an organisation that works to connect donors to people in need. They collected enough money to rent out a fully-furnished flat for a year so that he could get back on his feet.
Three years have past since The Angel Network intervened and they announced that Boaz is doing better than ever.
“We are so thrilled to announce that not only are Boaz and his 3 beautiful children back on their feet and surviving, they are happy, healthy and thriving.”
Briefly.co.za learnt that Boaz went back to work and saved his money until he was able to start his own fruit and vegetable outlet. He is at work by 5am, selling his produce to the community and providing for his children.
